Dear Committee Members:

I was fortunate to be able to attend part of the research forum that resulted from your efforts to bring together our various specialists in neuroscience and mental health at Université Laval.

I must say that I was very impressed by the turnout of nearly 200 people, the number of poster presentations and the quality of the talks I attended. I extend my thanks to you on behalf of the administration of the faculty of medicine of Université Laval.

This research forum clearly illustrates how strong the neuroscience field is in Quebec. The innovative nature of this group will undoubtedly serve as a model for other research themes currently being developed by colleagues throughout our academic network.
